Janira is a very open-minded and welcoming person. His positive energy is almost palpable. Coming from a large family with humble origins, Janira's roots run deep in love and resilience. His mother, a hardworking seller at the local market, instilled in him the value of dedication and perseverance. His late father, a courageous war veteran who fought for the independence of Guinea-Bissau, became an inspiration for his journey. Janira's path to success was not without its challenges. She started school a little later than usual, at age 8, but this never discouraged her from pursuing her academic goals.
Despite the financial challenges she faced after graduating from high school, Janira's unwavering spirit and love for her family led her to put her dreams on hold for three years, devoting herself to support from his mother and siblings during the loss of his father. With the support of friends and teachers, Janira discovered the “Sangue Novo” training center, a place that would change her life. Driven by a passion for making people feel good about themselves, she immediately knew that cosmetology was the right training for her. With determination and a heart full of enthusiasm, she persisted in trying to sign up for the program, making countless phone calls and visiting the center until she was finally given the opportunity.
The world of cosmetology opened new horizons for Janira, who embraced all aspects with enthusiasm. From treating herself to a transformative manicure and pedicure to mastering the art of makeup and the magic of massage, she found joy in every moment of her training.
After graduating from “Sangue Novo,” Janira completed a three-month internship at a local spa, hoping it would lead to a rewarding career. Although the internship did not lead to a full-time job, Janira did not give in to temptation. Drawing on her experience, she used her hard-earned money from her internship to purchase the equipment needed to start her own home-based business. Through her dedication and skills, she has built a loyal following who appreciate her magic.
“I am forever grateful to the teachers and my colleagues at Sangue Novo. The lessons I learned there will last a lifetime,” Janira said, acknowledging the impact her training had on her career.
With the vision of her own spa/salon firmly in her mind, Janira is setting her sights on new horizons. Janira is currently trying to get a visa to Lisbon, Portugal, to attend an intensive cosmetology course for a year. During her stay, she also plans to undergo training in marketing and branding in order to grow and consolidate her business. Unreservedly supported by her loyal customers, her colleagues at “Sangue Novo” and her family, Janira is determined to make her dreams a reality.
