SOS Children's Villages International is a global organization created in 1949 that works to meet the needs and protect the interests and rights of children who have lost parental care and those at risk of losing it. SOS Children's Villages International works through member associations in 135 countries around the world.
SOS Children's Villages Guinea-Bissau is a national non-governmental development association and a member of the International Federation of SOS Children's Villages, which since 1994 has been developing its activities to address the needs and concerns of children. SOS Guinea-Bissau develops and manages a wide range of programs and projects in Bissau, Gabú and Canchungo, including family strengthening programs, youth programs, primary and secondary schools, kindergartens, a vocational training center and various community projects.
The National Directorate of SOS Children's Villages in Guinea-Bissau is looking to recruit an Economics teacher for the Polytechnic Lyceum in Bissau.

Main tasks

Participate in individual or collective coordination and planning meetings with the head of department.

Planning and teaching content in accordance with the curriculum, guidelines and deadlines established by the educational manager, based on the defined calendar of activities.

Preparing all the pedagogical and didactic support material included in the lesson plan.

Mixing up the lessons with the students according to the plans.

Self-evaluate your lesson planning according to the results of its application.
Qualifications and skills required

Average or higher academic and pedagogical training in Economics.

Two (2) years' teaching experience in the field of economics in qualified schools.

Experience in technical and pedagogical learning methods.
-
Proficiency in spoken and written Portuguese.

Absolute honesty and integrity in the interests of SOS Children's Villages in Guinea-Bissau.
